Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! Launch Announced For November 17

ININ Games and Taito has announced the official release date for Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! The game is an updated version of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends with additional content.

Players will have the option to purchase the game digitally or physically. Those who already own the original game don’t have to worry about missing out on the new content. They will receive all the content from The Baron is Back! With a free update.

The additional content includes bringing back a fan-favorite character, Baron con Blubba, to spice up the original experience. The full list of in-game content includes a four-player co-op mode, 200 levels, online ranking, plus the original arcade version.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! will have double the amount of levels than the original game. The Baron provides an additional challenge, especially since the villain is invincible. Players have to dodge the Baron while also fighting off the other monsters one by one to clear the stage.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends previously launched exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in March 2020. Now more players on an additional platform will get to experience Bub and Bob’s adventures in a new game.

Anyone who purchases Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! later this month will receive the full version of the game. All of the additional content will be included, and new players won’t have to wait for the update.

The adventure also takes place online with up to four players. Players can tackle the game alone of up with three friends in couch co-op mode.

ININ Games released a new trailer for the expanded game. Players can learn about the new content coming to the game and watch the action in progress. Players can also follow the development and learn more about the game by following the publisher and developer on social media.

There is one more Bubble Bobble game currently in development. This Summer, Taito announced they were working on Puzzle Bobble VR for the Oculus Quest. Unfortunately, there’s no information on when the game is expected to launch.
