Kylie Jenner is being slammed after sharing a back-to-school video featuring her two-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster wearing a 12,000 backpack. The backpack is from Hermes and many people are finding it ludicrous. Not only are people upset about the cost of the backpack, but they are also taking issue with the fact that Kylie Jenner is flaunting her wealth during the Coronavirus pandemic when many children can’t attend school due to the virus.
As many public school children are being homeschooled, some of them are facing a lack of computers and tablets. Many children who live in rural areas are having a hard time connecting to the Internet or lack the connection speeds necessary to access their virtual lessons.
Not only are children having a hard time getting back to school and dealing with the fallout of social isolation, but unemployment has hit many families across America. People are sounding off saying that Kylie Jenner’s post is insensitive and shows how out of touch she is with the nationwide suffering many families and children are currently experiencing.
The video featuring Stormi Webster wearing the backpack also depicts the toddler jumping up and down between two luxury cars. Some fans joked that Stormi was contemplating which car to drive to school.
