Although he struggles with his depression and BPD at times, his proactive approach in finding coping mechanisms that work for him does appear to have helped. In 2020, Pete said that he’s “always depressed, all the time” but he now knows the steps that he has to take to “bring [himself] out of it.” He explained: “I have to go outside and be in the sun for a little bit or go for a walk. It’s all just programming yourself to trick your brain.”
