Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Adverse Reaction To Caffeine And Hydroxycut Diet Pills

It’s been a year filled with ups and downs for Tekashi 6ix9ine. Page Six reported earlier today that the “GOOBA” artist was sent to the hospital earlier in the week following an overdose on diet pills. The rapper was hospitalized in Florida.

The Shade Room was the first to report that the 24-year-old rapper drank a coffee from McDonald’s after taking two Hydroxycut pills which led to sweating profusely and suffering from an elevated heart rate. The company’s website reportedly recommends just taking one pill during the first day but then increase it up to two on the second day.

During a conversation with The Shade Room, Tekashi 6ix9ine said that the reaction was probably due to the combination of caffeine and the drugs. The rapper also said he didn’t do drugs because he has been on probation ever since having been released from prison.

As it was previously reported, the rapper was let out of federal prison after having served 17 months behind bars. Authorities put the rapper in prison due to racketeering and other charges, however, he was let out early for giving up information to the authorities.

Following his release, he weighed 200 pounds but he is now down to 177. Tekashi 6ix9ine, also known by his real name, Daniel Hernandez, is 5’6″ and weighs just 150 pounds. Thus far, the reaction to the news has been negative for Tekashi 6ix9ine.

As most know, his actions during the racketeering case involving the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods let to his persona non grata status. In the hip-hop community and black community, speaking with the authorities is immediate grounds for dismissal.

After releasing a number of successful singles this year, the rapper dropped Tattle Tales, which didn’t perform as well as he and his team had hoped. The album moved just 50,000 copies in its first week down from a projected 150,000.

Tekashi 6ix9ine had stiff competition, however, from artists like Big Sean who is signed to Kanye West‘s GOOD Music. Amid his album drop, the rapper had also been fighting with some of his cohorts in the music business, including Lil’ Durk, most recently.
