‘We did win this election’: Donald Trump claims victory, plans to go to US Supreme Court

The incumbent President spoke early on Wednesday morning at the White House. He claimed victory in several states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and Wisconsin, where the US media has so far not projected to either candidate.

“We have won Georgia. We’re up 2.5 percent, or 117,000 votes with only 7 percent left. They are never going to catch us!” Trump said. “Likewise, we’ve clearly won North Carolina.”

We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly we did win this election.

He went on to claim that “fraud” was underway with vote count and said he will be asking the US Supreme Court to intervene.

“We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at four o’clock in the morning,” he said.

Trump thanked his supporters, members of his campaign. He pledged that those who cast votes for him will not be “disenfranchised” by “a very sad group of people”.
