While talking about her mom, Jada’s so-called ‘entanglement’ with August Alsina on the newest episode of Red Table Talk, Willow Smith had nothing but praise for her parents, Jada Pinkett and Will Smith for the way they dealt with the whole situation. As far as the 19 year old is concerned, her mom and dad are ‘the real deal’ and she is ‘so proud’ of them!
This comes after Will and Jada confessed that, years ago, they went through a secret separation which is also around the time that Jada had what she called an ‘entanglement’ with singer August Alsina.
On the latest episode of the family’s talk show on Facebook, Willow chatted with her mom, her grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, as well as their guest Brene Brown and during their discussion, the daughter had nothing but positive things to say about Will and Jada’s reveal.
‘I’m so proud of you, to be able to see you and Dad do that, for me, that was like, OK that was the real deal. That’s real love. When you can be like, ‘I’m with you, I’m gonna stand by you, and I’m gonna hold your hand because I love you’, that’s what we do and that’s really important,’ the teenager shared.
As for what the couple actually said at the time about their private-turned-public marital issues, Will admitted that he really thought things between them could be over for good.
He went on to add that ‘We came together young and we were both broken in our own ways, and to be able to make mistakes without the fear of losing your family is so critical.’
Jada then shared that ‘one of the things that I’m deeply grateful in this whole process between you and I is that we have really gotten to that new place of unconditional love. Cause’ I wasn’t sure I was ever going to speak to you again. The fact that I’m speaking to you again is a miracle. You gotta go through some s**t to get the answers. I’m just happy because I definitely believe you and I never ever, ever thought we’d make it back.’
